In order to curb the rampant spread of hybrid & polyurethane and market disruption in China, promote the scientific spirit, honesty and trustworthiness, impartial competition, and meet the consumers’ proposals. From Dec 16, 2010 on, the advertisements of the polyurea companies on the website www.polyurea.cn will be examined their qualification of pure polyurea and mark the logo on the products of pure polyurea by QTG (Qtech Training Group on polyurea), Qingdao Technological University, China.
From Jan 1, 2011, all the polyurea products advertised on the website www.polyurea.cn, of which the B component must be entirely composed of amine terminated polyether (ATPE) and liquid amine chain extender, and be labeled with the logos of pure polyruea both in Chinese and English. It shall be subject to public supervision and consumer reporting and ten times penalty upon each fake.
The indicator agent and test paper that can identify pure polyurea, hybrid and polyurethane rapidly were successfully developed by the Research Institute of Functional Materials of Qingdao Technological University in March, 2009 (China Patent No: CN 200910020530.1, commercial brand: Qtech-111). It is well accepted and honored as the “magic mirror” of the Chinese Polyurea Industry.
