【Shamu-Intl. News, 2015-10-25】Philippines is an island country. The local aquaculture has its own unique advantages. But there industrial technology and infrastructure construction are relatively backward. As a captain of aquaculture, the training student Santiago cannot solve the leakage and corrosion problems in his shrimp ponds all the time. Therefore, it restrict the development of his company. Santiago and his technician take the problems came to Qingdao to attend the QTG training classes.
After study in 14th QTG training class and discuss with
Prof. Huang in Qingdao, CHINA, Mr. Santiago firmly believes that polyurea technology can solve his problem. And ultimately determine the first phase construction plan of his shrimp ponds. At present, this project has completed successfully and came into use.
Santiago’s culture ponds have concrete as a base metal. By long-term seawater immersion and ground subsidence, concrete appear large area of crack. Seawater continual leakage cause steel bar corrosion. Traditional waterproof method does not solve the leakage problem and may also cause pollution to the water. So that influence on seafood production. By learn from QTG training class and on-the-sight investigation of our company. Santiago decided to take the polyurea technology back to the Philippines and apply to shrimp pond seepage control project and otherwise. He bought PHX-40 spray machine of PMC and QTECH-407 which can be used in portable water from our company, and invited
Prof. Huang and our technician to Philippines to hold a special training named QTG in Philippines. We instruct them how to install, apply and maintain machines, which provide excellent protection for their ponds.
Once arriving to Philippines, our technician stared to install the machine, finish the surface preparation, protect the non-spray area, spray polyurea and teach them how to maintain the machine. In the process, our technicians speak fluently with English to instruct them in job site in Cebu, Philippines. They are patient to explain each details and matters that need to pay close attention to. Meanwhile this
QTG in Philippines has taught how to use of zero extend theory which can solve concrete cracking result in the crack of the polyurea coating, and efficiently solve the secondary water seepage.
Under QTG’s technical support, the workers of Philippines have studied and operated PHX-40 machine, AP-2 gun by themselves. They mastered the basic method of polyurea application and finally completed the project smoothly. This cooperation laid a solid foundation for our company’s pure polyurea development in Philippines.
