Shamu international has been the exclusive sponsor for QTG Training Course for 16 times in 7years sequentially, which has provided the trainees with quantities of devices, spray guns, auxiliary equipment and test sites and contributed a lot to the development of polyurea technology.
QTG Training Course
Realizing Your Dream—Being A Skilled Polyurea Engineer
【www.polyurea.cn. news, 2016-05-18】During this spring, another QTG(Qtech Training Group) training course was held in Qingdao University of Technology on 14 and 15 May,2016. Some of the trainees came from Liaoning, Henan, Hebei, Shandong Province and some other dominant regions. Besides, the rest of the trainees were from some foreign regions, such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, India and Indonesia and the foreign trainees almost took the half of all trainees in this training course.
Traditionally, Basic Theories Teaching and Surface Preparation are mainly the 2 parts of the training course. In Basic Theories Teaching, the trainees could find all of those vital contents covered in several previous training courses, such as the methods of identifying the pure polyurea and hybrid, comparison about the properties between isolation aging and artificial aging, zero-extension theory and the preventive solution, the history of polyurea-spraying machine and the differences between the domestic and overseas polyuria-spraying machines, the spraying skills in jobsites and the practice of spraying polyurea etc.
Surface preparation covered basics and skills on high stability hydraulically operated equipment, concrete hole cleaning, mortar and concrete bridge, 113 putty make level, 113 primer closed, solving "Zero extension of expansion joints” via specific processing mode etc.
A lot of modifications and complements have been an significant part of each training course. According to the latest developing direction and the progress of polyurea technology, as well as many difficulties and emphasis encountered in engineering application, QTG organized and edited these cases elaborately, based on the original theory and teaching steps. Also, many more latest progress and successful cases were added to this training course.
After QTG training course, a trainee from Dubai and had participated in a training held by PDA (Ployurea Development Association) excitedly said to Professor Huang “The PDA told me how to dream, but QTG shows me how to realize the dream--Being a skilled polyurea engineer. I do believe that one day in the near future, there will be polyurea project with the highest standards in Dubai, a richest and gorgeous city.”
QTG scheduled that there had been an outdoor teaching course on spraying polyurea on the concrete surface in the 2nd day. However, this was cancelled because of the rain that day. Instead, QTG held an indoor competition spraying the polyurea simple and the competitors needed to do their best to ensure that the average thickness of their simples is nearly 2mm, which will be tested through 4 points of 4 angles. Via this competition, all of the trainees realized that polyurea application was very tough and they acknowledged what the meaning of “One point polyurea, nine points application” as Professor said. After the competition, the first 10 competitors were granted with a memorable souvenir.
Through the 2-day training course,The trainees had a good knowledge of the Chinese and international history of polyurea. At the farewell dinner of this QTG training course, a representative of Henan province represented that the quality and utilization scale of Chinese pure polyurea has already been the top in the world, and not only did Professor Huang deserve “The Father of Chinese Polyurea" but also his achievements contributed a lot to the development of both Chinese and worldwide polyurea industry.
QTG was founded by the founder of polyurea technology in China, Professor Huang of Qingdao University of Technology. It was born in the jobsite of Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Polyurea Protective Project which is the largest jobsite of polyurea in the world. QTG has been held for 17 periods so far. It has supplied with powerful technical supports for Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, Qingdao Bay Bridge, Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge, Zhengzhou of South to North Water Transfer Project, Hengshan Reservoir in Shanxi Province, Dongguan Sanji music box, Tajikistan gold thick pool, Uruguay tunnel, Philippines shrimp ponds, Iraqi sewage treatment pool, the State Reserve Bureau super large warehouses and other domestic and foreign polyurea protective projects. Additionally, it has trained a large number of professional and skilled engineers. Meanwhile, QTG also constructed a platform for study and communication for international friends desiring to acknowledge the fundamentals on polyurea technology, to which more and more attention have been being paid by domestic and foreign scholars and actively participated. The visibility and the number of trainees has fairly more than PDA of US and PDA-EU. Many people come to QTG training course and they come from many countries, such as India, Australia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Uruguay, South Korea, Japan, Pakistan, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and some other countries. All in all, QTG has its own brand—PDA-China(Chinese Polyurea Development Association).
Since Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Polyurea Training Course started in October, 2009, QTG (Qtech Training Group) of Qingdao Technological University has been held for 17 periods already. The teaching mode of linking theory with practice and the excellent Chinese and English bilingual teaching style was highly praised and welcome by the trainees from China Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and international countries.
